Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: Burlington, Vermont 05401 Healthcare Setting: High-risk Labor & Delivery, M7 Birth Unit Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Duration: 26-32 weeks Start Date: November 3, 2025 End Date: May 4, 2026 Shift: 12-hour night shifts (occasional day shifts for coverage) Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every weekend required Estimated Weekly Pay: $2520–$2700 Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (all-season or snow tires recommended November–April) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery nursing experience (first-time travelers with strong experience considered) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) Ability to work every weekend and flexible scheduling Experience in large academic medical center preferred Reliable transportation required Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver expert patient care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit Monitor fetal and maternal health using advanced clinical protocols and technology Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR Participate in bi-weekly orientations and ongoing professional development Adapt to occasional day shifts for coverage as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures Discover why Burlington, Vermont is a top destination for travel nursing jobs—enjoy a welcoming community, outdoor adventures, and scenic views.
