Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 (Alabama nursing jobs) Unit: Heart Failure / Stroke Unit (Med/Surg Telemetry) Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date: 11/10/2025 End Date: 2/7/2026 Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend, holidays as required Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed (option for 48 hours per week) Estimated Weekly Salary: $1720 - $1840 Parking: On-site available Dress Code: Solid navy scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing (required for RN jobs) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses) BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (required for healthcare jobs) Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (will consider 18 months with at least 1 year in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty) Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Ability and willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care to individuals with neurological and cardiac conditions, including heart failure and acute stroke Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of nurses, cardiologists, and neurologists to ensure best practice standards Manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio in a fast-paced clinical environment Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR Float to other units or hospitals within the healthcare system as required Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and make a difference in patient care!
