Position Highlights As a Psychiatrist at Healthcare United , you will: Provide psychiatric evaluations and assessments for a diverse patient population. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications for inpatient and outpatient settings. Work within a comprehensive psychiatric care system , including: 14-bed acute inpatient psychiatry unit . Consult services for Med-Surg inpatients at affiliate hospitals. Psychiatric consultations to Emergency Departments throughout the network. Outpatient Psychiatry Clinics (OMH-licensed) with satellite locations and extensive telepsychiatry services . Provide occasional Consult-Liaison Psychiatry coverage , including telepsych services to other hospitals in the network. Participate in inpatient call with a 1:5 weekday rotation and one weekend per month . Requirements MD, DO, or MBBS with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency . Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry . New York State Medical License (or eligibility). BLS Certification Required. DEA Registration Required.
