Role As a key member of the Investment Team , you will play a leading role in originating, evaluating, and executing early-stage investments. You will have full autonomy and ownership of the entire investment lifecycle — from sourcing and due diligence to deal execution, post-investment support, and exits. This is a high-impact role, ideal for an entrepreneurial, self-driven investment professional with deep experience in the Asian startup ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Deal Origination & Diligence Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities aligned with the conglomerate’s strategic interests. Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and disruptive business models. Investment Analysis & Execution Develop and present investment theses to the internal team and Investment Committee. Lead full due diligence processes (commercial, financial, legal, technical). Build detailed financial models and conduct valuation analysis for both new and follow-on investments. Lead negotiations and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to drive deal execution. Portfolio Support & Venture Building Provide post-investment support to portfolio companies in the form of strategic guidance, business development, fundraising, and operational support. Act as a key point of contact between startups and relevant conglomerate business units for potential synergies. Internal Stakeholder Management Maintain clear and consistent communication across the investment team and relevant senior stakeholders within the conglomerate. Ensure structured reporting on deal progress and portfolio performance. Requirements 7–10 years of relevant experience in early-stage venture capital, corporate venture capital, or startup investments in Asia. Strong exposure to the Asian startup ecosystem. Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field. Additional qualifications (MBA, CFA, or similar) are highly advantageous. Deep understanding of investment due diligence and financial modeling. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Independent, adaptable, detail oriented, and thrives in a lean & entrepreneurial team. Why Join?
