Pay Information $1,912 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required licensure to work as an RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: BLS/ACLS Critical thinking Description: The ICU role involves providing care to patients in a critical condition. The position focuses on adult and geriatric populations. Common diagnoses include DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical cases, electrolyte imbalances, overdose, and psychiatric issues. Candidates must possess critical thinking skills. The unit currently has 5 beds with plans to expand to 10 beds in February. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 2-3:1. The environment utilizes various equipment, including ventilators, bipaps, infusion pumps, and glucometers.
