Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility Physician

Job Location

Scranton, PA, United States

Job Description

One of the premier tertiary care, integrated health systems on the East Coast has an urgent need for a BE/BC Reproductive Endocrinologist due to the sudden passing of 1 of the providers. This is an opportunity to join an experienced IVF group in the Wyoming Valley of Northeastern PA. The providers have an M-F schedule with weekend fertility procedures when necessary (rarely). They practice the full scope of IVF and surgery, and teaching opportunities are available. They had 780 new patients in 2023 and 815 return visits, are booked 2 months out, and have a 2-4 week wait for a new patient. Providers are available for patient calls daily, but this is not a formal call and trips to the hospital are a rarity. Providers are involved in teaching and training of residents, medical students, and APP students. Enjoy a highly competitive salary and benefits package with great perks, loan repayment, and occurrence-based malpractice coverage. Nestled in the heart of northeastern Pennsylvania, this city boasts a rich history intertwined with the coal mining industry that once dominated the region. Surrounded by rolling hills and scenic landscapes, it serves as a gateway to the nearby natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains. The city is known for its historic architecture, vibrant cultural scene, and the enduring charm of its local communities. With a diverse range of recreational opportunities and a deep sense of heritage, it offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. Enjoy excellent public and private schools, a low cost of living and easy access to an international airport.
