Connecticut Nursing Job Details Location: Bristol, CT 06010 (Connecticut nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – LDRP Unit Assignment Duration: 13-week travel contract (Start: 10/14/2025 – End: 1/13/2026) Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7p – 7a), every other weekend, rotating holidays Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Pay: $2200–$2360 Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs Orientation: 1 day professional development, 1–2 days shadowing Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Connecticut or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or LDRP experience Required certifications: BLS, NRP, COVID Vaccine Experience titrating Pitocin and Magnesium drips Ability to interpret EFM strips (Traceview system) Strong communication and teamwork skills L&D Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients (35 weeks and above) Monitor and titrate medications including Pitocin and Magnesium Assist with C-sections in the unit's dedicated OR suite Collaborate with OB techs, pediatric hospitalists/APRNs, and other clinical team members Document patient care using MEDITECH 6.07 Follow AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios and safety Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development Experience the best of Connecticut healthcare jobs in Bristol, CT—a city blending small-town charm with big-city convenience.
