With 349 stylish rooms, apartments, and suites, breathtaking views, a palm-lined infinity pool, world-class restaurants, and state-of-the-art conference and event venues, we offer an inspiring workplace where excellence meets opportunity Key Responsibilities Guest Interaction & Hosting Deliver a seamless, personalised experience by building relationships, remembering names, and meeting guest requests with warmth and efficiency. Lobby & Public Area Presence Maintain a welcoming presence in public areas, ensuring cleanliness, ambience, and presentation are exemplary. VIP & Group Coordination Personally welcome VIPs and groups, manage room allocations, and provide thoughtful touches such as room drops and turndowns. Guest Profiling & Communication Manage guest profiles, pre-arrival communications, and post-departure follow-ups, ensuring information is accurate and shared across departments. Requests & Complaints Management Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, complaints, and special requirements. Travel Desk Liaison Coordinate tours, transfers, and Cape Town experiences with travel partners, maintaining accurate records and service provider relationships. Operational Support Assist with Opera system functions, including check-ins, check-outs, reports, and room allocations, ensuring smooth communication with the Guest Experience Manager and team. Requirements Matric (Grade 12); hospitality qualification or diploma advantageous 12 years experience in a guest-facing hospitality role Proficiency in Opera or similar PMS systems Strong knowledge of Cape Town and Western Cape attractions and experiences Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Professional, flexible, and detail-oriented Must hold a valid South African ID Key Competencies Guest-Centric Mindset Passion for creating memorable, tailored guest experiences Communication Skills Clear, professional communication across diverse cultures Problem-Solving & Adaptability Calm, resourceful, and solution-driven under pressure Attention to Detail Ensures every aspect of the guest journey exceeds expectations Sociability & Professionalism Confident, approachable, and polished in all interactions Package on Offer Basic salary (TBA) 50/50 contribution to provident fund Company contribution to medical aid Application Notes Must hold a valid South African ID Only candidates with relevant experience will be shortlisted Ensure your CV is fully updated All shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual introduction interview Recruitment aligns with the companys Employment Equity Plan .
