As a Houseparent, you’ll play a vital role in making sure their environment is clean, safe, and nurturing — a true home from home. Main Duties Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals (we hold the Healthy Living Award) Keep living areas, bedrooms, and shared spaces clean, tidy, and welcoming Support with laundry, stock control and hygiene standards Work as part of a team that puts the wellbeing of young people first What we are looking for Experience in cooking, cleaning, or housekeeping (in any setting - home, hospitality, care, schools, etc) A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to help Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team Care experience is a bonus, but not essential A driving licence would be great, but not essential Notes Content of this job outline to reflect changes to the job or services provided, while maintaining the overall character and level of responsibility for the post.
