Job Description Job Description REQUIREMENTS: - *Must have NC Driver’s License with a clean driving record (driver's license from any other state not accepted) - *Must be able to pass background check - *Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests - Able to travel overnight occasionally once well trained (additional pay when traveling) - Effectively use hand and power tools (and have your own basic tools) - Ability to lift at least 75lbs regularly; ability to team lift heavier equipment - Able and comfortable driving a box truck and other company vehicles - Experience in one of the following areas: cat5 wiring, audio wiring, appliance repair, low-voltage equipment, etc. -Able to engage with a diverse range of clients, including restaurant, bar chains, as well as adult entertainment venues. THE POSITION: Fayetteville is the corporate headquarters for The New Vemco Music Company. We are looking for Equipment Repair/Movers who work independently as well as in teams to assemble and repair equipment in our warehouse and load/deliver equipment to new and existing businesses in Fayetteville and surrounding areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assemble new amusement equipment - Assess and repair broken/damaged equipment - such as recovering pool tables, replacing game parts, trouble-shooting jukebox issues, soldering electronics, etc. - Unload freight - Load/Unload games and equipment into/out of box trucks - Drive box trucks and company vehicles to client locations - Prepare equipment for transport to other Vemco offices - Assist in overall upkeep, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse - Other duties as assigned Some of the benefits we offer: - Paid time off - Medical, dental, vision coverage plans - 401(k) plan with company match - Additional compensation for on-call service calls The ideal candidate is a mechanically inclined self-starter and has experience working on electronics such as sound systems or small appliances; is looking for long-term employment and enjoys work where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate would be open to occasional over-night travel in the future after training. Candidates unable to travel will be considered.
