Pay Information $2,288 to $2,350 per week About The Position Emergency Department (ED) Float Nurse Trenton, NJ 08 weeks 36 Hours Night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Unit Description: Emergency Department (ED) Holds Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Emergency Department Float Nurse to join our ER Float Pool. This role requires floating to all four campus Emergency Departments, providing critical nursing care and support where needed. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of current ED experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Holds across multiple campuses. Float between all four campuses' EDs as assigned, ensuring seamless patient care continuity. Work every other weekend and every other holiday as part of the ER Float Pool schedule. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department nursing experience. Current NJ or Compact Nursing License at the time of application submission. Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Mandatory flu vaccine compliance (no declinations or exceptions accepted). Ability to wear navy blue scrubs as per unit dress code. Additional Information: EMR System: Cerner Scrub Color: Navy Blue Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday.
