Night Porter - Fixed Term

The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne are recruiting for a Night Porter - 45 Hours Per Week to join our nights team on a part-time basis, fixed term of six months Night Porter Overview You will be working as a Night Porter with a wide range of responsibilities, such as: Welcoming late arriving guests and escorting them to their rooms; Assisting guests with luggage Providing advice on hotel facilities as well as local places of interest Valet parking cars Preparing snacks and serving food and drinks. Please note this is a night time role working 9 hours 8pm and 7.30am, 5 days out of seven. You may be required to work weekends. Night Porter Key Attributes Clean, valid UK driving licence preferred. Possess a welcoming personality to make the Grand Hotel an experience to remember, whilst retaining the ability to be assertive when required. Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written. Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required. You will have already gained experience within the hospitality or customer service industry.
