TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425! Pay Information $2,010 per week About The Position Job Title: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience License: Valid RN License (South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State) Certifications: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Experience with ECMO and CCRT preferred. Description: The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN will work three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Patient ratios will be 1:2 or 1:3. The RN will float to all pediatric units as needed. First timers are accepted if they have the required experience. RTO must be submitted at the time of application. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks. During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response. Travelers should be aware of hurricane season running from June through November. Modules are non-billable, averaging four hours spent on completion. Proficiency in various skills is necessary, including care of ventilated patients, central line management, and medication administration. Isolation precautions and pediatric dosage calculations are essential competencies for this role. Consideration will be given for a block schedule upon manager approval based on unit needs.
