About The Position Our client, a nationally recognized healthcare system, is seeking to add several dynamic I CU RNs (in Lake Monroe, Kissemmee, and Fort Walton Beach FL) . In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. This unit is known for its dynamic culture, access to resources, and strong camaraderie. 28576712EXPTEMP Job Requirements 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) acute care ER, ICU, or CVICU RN experience required. PCU/IMCU experience considered with 2 years of experience. Active RN license in Florida or eligible for compact licensure. If 3 years of RN experience and a compact license, candidates may be considered while pursuing FL license. If less than 3 years of RN experience, candidates must take the NCLEX in FL before consideration. Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred. BLS certification required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire. CCRN preferred. Additional required certifications within 90 days of hire: ACLS Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Benefits Shifts available: Days or Nights (rotating weekends) . Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2–3 . Unit: 10-bed ICU with continuous monitoring; typical census 8–10 patients; patient stay averages 3–4 days. Patient population: Medical/Surgical ICU patients, vented, vasoactive medications, low acute trauma, cardiac, pulmonary, and metabolic cases. Shadow shift required before hire (day or night depending on schedule). Competitive compensation with night shift and specialty pay differentials . Sign-on bonus: $10k Days / $15k Nights .
