About Us We’re Red Torpedo — a Glasgow-born casual clothing brand with roots in motorcycle and mountain bike culture. These days, we make gear for everyone who loves well-made, easy-going clothing with a bit of attitude. Our new store is opening soon, and we’re looking for a few solid people to join the team. This is an initial six month contract, which will be extended if the store performs well. FULL AND PART TIME ROLES AVAILABLE. The Role As a Retail Assistant, you’ll be the face of the brand — welcoming customers, helping them find what they love, and making sure the store always looks sharp. You’ll know our products inside out and be part of keeping the store running smoothly every day. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering great customer service without being fake or pushy. Helping customers find the right fit, style, or gift. Keeping the shop floor tidy, stocked, and on-brand. Processing sales, returns, and deliveries. Supporting visual merchandising and stock displays. Working as part of a small, close-knit team to hit store goals. Who You Are Friendly, confident, and easy to talk to. Experience in retail or hospitality is great, but attitude matters more. Reliable and proactive — you see what needs doing and just do it. Comfortable working weekends and busy periods. Genuinely interested in clothing, style, or just good brands that do things right.
