Job Title: Technology Delivery Specialist Department: Digital & Technology Package: £60,000 – £70,000 base salary Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term Contract (September 2027) Location: Based in Tewkesbury (Hybrid 3-days a week in the office to include 1 day in Twickenham) Reports to: Technology Director, based in Twickenham THE PURPOSE We're looking for a hands-on technology specialist to shape and deliver our digital roadmap. Working closely with Keith Prowse and Compass Group’s Digital & Technology teams and external partners to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable switching between tasks, enjoys variety, complex problem solving and brings a proactive mindset to everything they do. This role is a mix of practical technical delivery and broader coordination. You will be managing physical and cloud hosted environments as well as identifying the right technical solution for the next project or business as usual challenge. This role will deliver technology to enable teams across sales, marketing, event operations for premium hospitality occasions at some of the most iconic events as well as exceptional travel packages to major global sporting events. What You’ll Be Doing Strategic Technology Planning: Working with our Keith Prowse and Compass Digital & Technology teams to shape a roadmap that supports growth, innovation, and day-to-day operations. Technical Delivery & Solution Architecture: Helping deliver customer centric, secure, scalable solutions across architecture, development, integration, and infrastructure. Infrastructure Oversight & Coordination: Managing the performance of our hosted environments, including data centres, cloud platforms, networks, and core applications. You’ll be hands-on where needed, and work with third-party providers to keep things running smoothly. Service Management: Supporting service improvement by coordinating with vendors, identifying issues, and helping implement long-term fixes to create resilient and scalable solutions. Data-Driven Decision Making: Using data to guide decisions, improve systems, and make sure we’re getting the most out of our platforms. Product Lifecycle Management: Maintain and evolve our technology products, identifying enhancements and ensuring they remain supported and aligned with business needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working across teams to make sure our technology supports collaboration and a one-company mindset Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with business leaders, clients, and central tech teams, helping translate business needs into practical solutions. Innovation & Emerging Tech: Champion innovation, including the use of AI and automation where it adds value. Stay ahead of trends and bring fresh thinking to the table. What You Bring 7-10 years of broad technical experience across infrastructure, software development, and systems integration, with a proven ability to deliver both directly and through third-party partners. Practical, implementation-level expertise in upgrading, managing, and troubleshooting infrastructure and applications. Experience working in fast-paced environments such as startups, SMEs, or large enterprises, with an ability to adapt quickly and drive outcomes. Experience within the Travel and Hospitality industry Ecommerce experience Strong technical proficiency across platforms and technologies including: Sitecore, and/or open-source web stacks Data centres, cloud hosting, networks, and server infrastructure (inc Azure, AWS) Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric SAP, Payment systems, Event management & ticketing systems A collaborative and delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to influence and coordinate across technical and non-technical teams. A passion for solving problems, driving change, and delivering value through technology, with a continuous improvement approach. YOU’LL RECEIVE 27 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
