Telemetry RN Job Details Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Kansas City metro area) Healthcare Setting: Telemetry / Med Surg (Unit 2 South/North) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: November 2, 2025 End Date: February 1, 2026 Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1750–$1870 per week Employment Type: Travel nursing job Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Must work one day from each major holiday grouping (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active KS RN license or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting (within the last 18 months) Clinical experience in General Surgery, Bariatric, Gynecological, Urology, and Orthopedics Proficient in managing medical diagnoses such as cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones Skilled in Heparin drips, TPN, PCAs, and telemetry rhythm interpretation BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with EPIC EMR preferred Ability to float to all acute care units as needed Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer medications, including Heparin drips and TPN; manage PCAs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Accurately document all patient care activities in the EPIC EMR system Float to other acute care units as required Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Provide compassionate support to patients and their families Discover the benefits of working as a travel nurse in Olathe, KS—enjoy beautiful parks, excellent dining, and a supportive healthcare community while gaining valuable clinical experience.
