Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details: Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Tuesday through Thursday No on-call responsibilities required Perform technical procedures in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment Utilize CT scan equipment to create diagnostic images and provide patients with safe, positive experiences Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients, stable patients, those receiving intensive care, research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health code part 16 Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate Required certifications: New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification Entry level position with limited or no experience required; MIT Level assigned based on skill set and experience Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced environment.
