Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy - Hotel Restaurant Manager 5* Hotel – Cape Town Waterfront Area Requirements: · Relevant Qualifications in Hospitality, F&B or Restaurant Management · 5 years’ experience in a similar 5* Restaurant/Hotel Environment · Excellent in depth restaurant operations and systems knowledge · Excellent training and communication skills · Assertive communication skills to handle staff and guests respectfully and concisely · Proactive with strong Planning & organizing tendencies · Effective supplier management and negotiation skills · Excellent attention to detail · Highly responsible, reliable & trustworthy · High guest centric approach to ensure overall customer service Responsibilities: · Take time to understand and plan the implementation of the restaurant concept and F&B offering and to convey it to the team effectively · Manage the effective implementation of agreed brand relevant food experiences and special events · Team is purposeful and motivated with effective training given in SOP’s, menus, and service to ensure memorable guest experiences · A high performance, respectful culture is created · Communication within team is regular and effective with Performance feedback occurring regularly · Ensure 5* standards are being adhered to at all times · Participate in and provide motivations for proposed budgets · Expense management, working closely with F&B GM to ensure effective processes and controls are in place · Identify main points between FOH and kitchen and raise these with F&B GM to be addressed · Manage and draft minutes of weekly F&B meetings · Manage team and processes diligently to ensure team practice daily and weekly Health & Safety disciplines Salary: R30 000 – R35 000 D.O.E Start date: ASAP
