Financial Manager | Port Elizabeth

JD Specialized Recruitment are partnering with a 5* Luxury Lodge in the Eastern Cape to recruit a highly experienced FINANCIAL MANAGER to join their team. This position is ideally suited to a candidate based in the surrounding areas (e.g. Port Elizabeth, Kirkwood) due to its off-site nature. While remote working is expected, occasional on-site presence (approx. 2x per week) will be required. A strong background in finance is essential, with hospitality experience advantageous. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field – essential. Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Finance) highly beneficial. Minimum 5-10 years of Senior Financial Management experience, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment. Professional certification (CPA or similar) would be advantageous. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. Ability to develop financial strategies, assess risks, and advise leadership. Proficient in financial systems and MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently with a proactive, hands-on approach.
