Housekeeping Steward - Franschoek

Luxury Wellness Retreat & Hotel close to Franschhoek is looking for a Housekeeping Steward. You will excel in this role if you are flexible and able to multitask . Your high level of attention to detail with excellent organisational skills , and the ability to learn and adapt in the environment will be essential. Duties: Upkeep and cleaning of hotel rooms and communal guest areas Perform turndown and general housekeeping services to facilitate a seamless stay for hotel guests Exceeding guests’ expectations, from arrival to departure in all areas of their stay Ensuring that all guests’ special requests, requirements are communicated clearly and are met by all departments Deliver exceptional service Thinking out of the box to make guests’ stay exceptional Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards Requirements: Grade 12 Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or similar Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and methods Excellent time keeping Ability to follow SOP standards Attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Impeccable grooming standards Personal and professional integrity Good communication skills in English High level of physical endurance Ability to work shifts Preference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas
