Lodge Manager I Uganda

JD Specialized Recruitment is currently assisting an exclusive eco-luxury lodge in Uganda to recruit a seasoned LODGE MANAGER to lead the Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in guest services, front-of-house management and food and beverage operations, combined with strong leadership abilities that re needed to manage and motivate a diverse team. This role requires someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high operational standards, managing stock and procurement efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to live and work in a remote, nature-rich environment while contributing to sustainable tourism and community engagement. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in a 5* lodge or boutique hotel setting as a Manager. Experience with ResRequest, TallOrder, and Mystock is preferred but not required. Strong background in Food & Beverage management, including service standards, hygiene, and cost control Experience overseeing multi-department operations (housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, etc.)Hands-on experience with inventory and stock control systems Skilled in producing operational and financial reports Ability to resolve guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency Demonstrated ability to lead and train diverse teams in a remote setting Comfortable working in remote or nature-based locations with limited access Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management PLEASE NOTE – This position is only open citizens of Kenya.
