Job Description
Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Junior Front of House Manager Restaurant – Fourways, Gauteng Requirements • Matric • Relevant Hospitality qualifications preferred • 2-3 years supervisor experience in a busy restaurant environment essential • Basic numeracy and cash handling skills with POS experience • Proficient computer skills including MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook • Experience in hospitality industry standards and procedures • Excellent communication and strong customer service skills essential • Well-groomed and professional in appearance • Positive attitude, team spirit with strong leadership and people management skills • Organized, proactive and detailed-oriented • Be calm under pressure and solutions driven Responsibilities • Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising all FOH staff, including waiters, hosts and bartenders • Ensure excellent customer service and smooth service flow during meal periods • Oversee table allocations. Reservations and guest seating to maximize efficiency • Monitor the dining area to ensure guests are satisfied and respond to requests quickly • Support senior staff and management in maintaining service standards • Uphold hygiene, safety and food handling protocols always • Maintain stock levels for all FOH items • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance where needed • Step in to perform service duties when required, leading by example • Assist with stock take Package on offer • Salary: R 12 000 – R 15 000 pm DOE Start date: ASAP
