Job Description
Store Manager – Cape Town We are recruiting for a Store Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various store operations . This involves delegating tasks to staff members, tracking stock levels, ordering necessary supplies and ensuring a clean, safe environment for both employees and customers. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory and storage of all food, beverage, and supplies to ensure operational efficiency and profitability. This role involves managing stock levels, ordering new supplies, performing inventory audits, and controlling costs to maintain the high standards of a fine dining establishment. Administer the ordering of all meals & functions. Operate as part of a team with good interpersonal skills. Receive all the stock from the suppliers according to the Company’s policies & procedures Issuing of all stock in the fridges, freezers, dry store & chemical store as per company spec with regards to portion size Ensuring costing of stock/meals & functions is done timely, accurately & on a daily basis Receive all invoices on a daily basis on My Market Conduct stock takes Maintaining high quality hygiene as per Company standards. Plan for consecutive days to make sure all stock is available Maintain the safe keeping and protecting of all products & equipment in store room May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibility To report and where possible, take action about customer complaints and compliments Skills and Competencies Strong client and customer service skills Computer literate Competencies Good Food and Beverage Knowledge Team player and attention to detail Excellent co-ordination and ability to multi-task Positive, punctual and professional approach Strong judgement and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written) Flexibility with regards to working hours Attention to detail Client service orientated Business management principles Fully computer literate Excellent food skills Qualifications / Skills and Experience and Education Matric Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality Microsoft Office with strong focus on Excel; 3 - 5 years Proven Costing and Stock / Store keeping experience Preferably own vehicle would be an added advantage
