Accountant

Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Accountant Hospitality Group- Constantia Neck, Cape Town We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in multi-entity environments, strong reconciliation and VAT expertise, and a solutions-driven approach. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work across diverse business units, and confidence in managing complex financial processes within a dynamic hospitality-focused portfolio. Requirements: · SAIPA/SAICA qualified with 3-5 years' hospitality- Essential · Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of IFRS for SMEs / GAAP · Proven ability in reconciliations, · Demonstrated strong skills in reconciliation, VAT, and supplier management. · Proven experience working within multi-entity environments. · Strong Excel and Xero (or similar) skills · Exhibits high attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities: · Preparation of monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports. · Management of supplier invoicing, payment processing, and associated reconciliations. · Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of banking, payroll, and cash control processes. · Oversight of stock control procedures and support during monthly stock takes. · Handling of customer invoicing and effective debtor management. · Maintenance and auditing of the Fixed Asset Register. · Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and reconciling VAT returns. · Enforcement of internal controls and active contribution to audit readiness. · Collaboration across various departments and business units. Package Salary: R 40 000 pm, depending on experience
