Job Description
Hospitality and Outdoor - New Vacancy- Sous Chef Restaurant – Durban, KZN Requirements • Minimum of 3-5 years previous Sous chef experience in a top-tier establishment (Essential) • International and East African experience highly beneficial • Food Hygiene and professional cooking qualifications • Extremely creative and hard working • Good knowledge of wines and pairing • Menu compilation and implementation • Well experienced in fine dining and creating modern dishes • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure and coordinate the kitchen team • Ability to co-ordinate the kitchen team to produce menus and food items with attention to detail, and high standards of presentation • In depth understanding of food trends • Knowledge of all dietary and religious requirements • Good knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control • Good knowledge of planning, budgeting, and departmental administration Package on offer • R 15 000 – R 22 000 pm DOE CTC Start date: ASAP
