Area General Manager Luxury lodges- Limpopo Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for luxury, nature, and people? An exclusive hospitality group is seeking a Cluster General Manager to oversee the operations of multiple high-end safari lodges in Limpopo. Requirements · A relevant tertiary qualification in either Management or Hospitality (Highly Beneficial) · Proven experience as an Operational General Manager or Cluster GM in luxury lodges or resort operations-minimum 3-5 years- Essential · Strong commercial and operational acumen. · Exceptional leadership and communication skills. · Strong personality and highly motivated · Deep understanding of safari operations, guest relations, and conservation values. · Excellent people skills, good at managing large teams · Good financial acumen. Description · A person that is highly respectful to local cultures and works well with local staff members · To ensure the Lodges and brand, are not only maintained but taken to the next level of service standards and excellence. · Drive community development projects and provide requisite skills and support to ensure effective effort. · Develop strategic relationships with local stakeholders including governmental organizations, wildlife organisations and communities · Create and maintain a detailed skills development plan for all staff. · Guest focused philosophy. · Must work accurately under pressure. · To produce a consistent, high-quality product, efficient and flexible service, which is consistent with the company’s policies and procedures. · To have a full working knowledge and capability to perform and manage all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work to the standard of performance set. · To demonstrate and promote flexibility and adaptability towards changing working hours and shifts according to the requirements of a 24-hour operation. · To respond to changes in your job function as dictated by the industry, company, or the property. · To manage and monitor all costs and implement measures to control them. · To provide effective leadership through professional management and encouragement of all subordinates.
