Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) – Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) – Watford Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Setting: Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) Contract Type: Locum / Ongoing Start Date: ASAP We are currently seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) OR Advance nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a busy Urgent Treatment Centre in Watford. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care across a range of urgent and primary care services. Shift Patterns & Pay Rates (Ltd Company) Day-Type = Day (08:00–20:00) Night (20:00–08:00) - Weekday -£52.50 - Weekday night - £57.50 - Saturday - £55.00 - Saturday night - £60.00 - Sunday - £57.50 - Sunday Night - £62.50 - Bank Holiday - £67.50 - Bank Holiday Night - £72.50 Key Requirements Essential: * Registered Clinician (NMC/HCPC/GMC) * Master’s Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent/higher) * Qualified Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) * Minor Injuries and Minor Illness Qualification – with evidence of formal study in both * Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including at least 2 years in primary care, A&E, or urgent care * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Practitioner in one of the following: * General Practice * Walk-in Centre (WIC) * GP Out of Hours (OOH) * Accident & Emergency (A&E) * Experience working to clinical guidelines and protocols * Ability to provide care across all age ranges (Paediatrics & Adults) * Experience offering mentorship and supervision to other clinical staff What We’re Looking For We are seeking a clinician who is confident in managing a wide range of presentations within an urgent care setting.
