Job Description

Senior Architectural Technologist Location: Worthing Salary: £40-46,000 DOE I'm collaborating with an award-winning architectural practice to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist for their creative team based in Worthing. This dynamic studio delivers a diverse portfolio of residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial projects, taking schemes from concept through to completion. As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you'll play a key role in coordinating project delivery, leading design teams, and liaising directly with clients, consultants, and contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and is passionate about technical excellence and the successful delivery of high-quality developments. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of projects through RIBA Stages 4-6, focusing on residential and mixed-use developments. Prepare and coordinate detailed working drawing packages, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and technical details. Manage coordination between design consultants, contractors, and external teams. Act as a client-facing representative, ensuring clear and professional communication at all stages. Oversee and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration, efficiency, and quality in design delivery. About You Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology (CIAT accreditation advantageous). Proven technical expertise on medium to large-scale projects (typically £5m construction value). Proficient in Autodesk Revit (essential) and AutoCAD. Excellent understanding of Building Regulations and Housing Standards. Strong leadership skills, with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Confident working independently while maintaining strong communication in a team-based environment. Highly skilled in technical detailing and knowledgeable in modern construction techniques.
