Job Opportunity: Approved Electrician Location: Base location Motherwell, covering Southern Scotland sites Contract Type: Initial 3-month contract Salary: £28.00 per hour (CIS) Start Date: ASAP Regular monthly checks on commercial sites in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth area (Offices, schools, depots, accommodation etc) Occasional travel to Inverness, Wick, Aberdeen, Oban, Campbelltown; a few overnight stays possible if travelling this distance Key Responsibilities: .Electrical inspection and testing to BS7671 standards Emergency lighting and equipment testing Remedial works based on inspection findings Working to client scopes and safety procedures You’ll Need: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing 18th Edition (BS7671) AM2 (or equivalent full apprenticeship route) ECS Card Strong experience with commercial/industrial environments A positive attitude and ability to work independently What we offer: We book hotels for you, breakfast and £25 to spend on evening meal included Van and fuel card included All PPE, specialist tools etc Direct to site roles Pay: 37 hours standard rate, then 1.5x overtime; Saturday 7.5 hours at 1.5x then 2x; Sunday 2x.
