Engineering Manager - FMCG! Location: Rogerstone Salary: Up to £65,000 Excellent Benefits Package Hours: Monday to Friday – Flexible About the Role: A market-leading FMCG manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager to take a key leadership role within its high-performing operations team. You’ll oversee engineering and maintenance activities across a major production area, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across your function. This is a high-impact position offering visibility, influence, and the opportunity to shape the future of engineering performance on site. Key Responsibilities: Lead maintenance operations across a key section of the site, managing a team of approximately 20 engineers and apprentices. Work closely with Shift Managers and technical teams to ensure efficient, proactive maintenance and minimal downtime. Provide hands-on technical support for breakdowns, emergencies, and improvement projects. Drive engagement through effective coaching, training, and development of your team. Manage performance, including holidays, reviews, and disciplinaries. Deliver engineering and continuous improvement projects, acting as the link between production and maintenance. Promote asset management best practices and support the long-term engineering strategy. What We’re Looking For: Strong technical background – ideally multi-skilled. Proven leadership and people management experience within manufacturing or FMCG. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
