P/T Afternoon Receptionist - 1.30pm-7.30pm - Mon-Fri - Private Clinic - Harley Street, W1 - £28k-£32k (pro rata) We have a great part time Receptionist role available for a professional, dynamic and proactive individual to join a successful private clinic in Harley Street, London. A friendly, forward-thinking and collaborative company, our client is looking for a warm and empathetic Receptionist to support the practice team with the afternoon coordination of the Reception area. Working 1.30pm-7.30pm, Monday to Friday, you will take over the reception duties from the Reception Lead to ensure a continuous service is provided until the clinic closes. Ideal candidates will have Front of House / Reception / Office Management experience in a private medical, hospitality or professional services environment and will be emotionally intelligent, highly organised and able to make crucial decisions in the best interest of practitioners and clients at any given moment. The role: This is an office-based front of house reception role working 1.30pm-7.30pm in Central London; with an annual salary of c£28k-£32k (pro rata), 24 days annual leave (plus BH) and private medical insurance. Responsibilities as the Receptionist will include: * Coordinating the Front of House areas * Meeting and greeting all clients and providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times * Acting as the first point of contact for any clinic or client queries or issues * Supporting billing processes and taking payments * Extensive telephone management - liaising with new and existing clients * Proofreading and editing clinical letters and reports if required * Conducting regular office checks for safety, cleanliness and functionality * Supporting fire safety processes and procedures * Logging and escalating any building or maintenance issues and liaising with contractors when required * Supporting the Practice Manager and Administration Manager when needed And more! What we’re looking for: * Previous reception / front of house experience, ideally within private medical, high-end hospitality or professional services environments * Fluent English language skills * Clear and professional communication skills * Ability to provide 5* customer service at all times, excellent telephone manner * Highly organised and proactive nature * Dynamic, proactive, focused and hard working * Warm and empathetic with strong emotional intelligence * Ability to multitask * Attention to detail at the highest level * IT literate/tech savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently * Ability to be discreet and deal with confidential and sensitive information * Mature manner with the ability to deal with confidential and possibly conflicting or challenging situations * Able to work Monday to Friday from 1.30pm-7.30pm Please note: The recruitment process will include pre-interview competency testing.
