Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and forward-thinking Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in integrative or functional medicine and is passionate about uncovering the root causes of illness, creating personalized treatment plans, and empowering patients to take control of their health. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, lifestyle assessments, and advanced functional lab reviews. Create individualized, root-cause-oriented treatment plans incorporating nutrition, lifestyle, supplementation, and appropriate medical interventions. Interpret functional and conventional lab results (e.g., hormone panels, advanced lipid profiles, GI mapping, micronutrient testing). Provide patient education and ongoing follow-up to support adherence and results. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including MDs, RNs, nutritionists, and health coaches. Perform in-clinic procedures as needed (IV therapy oversight, injections, etc.). Stay current with emerging functional medicine research, protocols, and continuing education. Document care according to best practice standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Required Qualifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee (FNP, ANP, or AGNP). Minimum of 2 years’ experience in functional, integrative, or holistic medicine (or strong passion with functional medicine training completed or in progress). Proficiency in interpreting advanced labs and creating comprehensive wellness plans. Exceptional communication and patient relationship skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Preferred Qualifications: IFM (Institute for Functional Medicine) certification or similar functional medicine training. Experience with hormone replacement therapy, peptide protocols, detoxification programs, and nutraceuticals. Knowledge of EMR systems (we use [insert EMR name]).
