Job Description
As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll help people live comfortably and with dignity. You’ll support with day-to-day tasks such as personal care, meals and activities, and work with colleagues, families and other professionals to make sure everyone receives the right care and support. Your role is about helping people feel safe, respected and at home. What Your Day Could Involve Each day is different. You might start by helping someone get ready for the day, supporting with medication, or sharing a chat over a cup of tea. You could help with a walk in the garden, prepare a meal or simply offer reassurance when it’s needed. It’s about being there for people and helping them feel valued and supported. About You You’re kind, patient and reliable, with a genuine interest in supporting others. You work well as part of a team and bring a calm, respectful approach to your work. You’re flexible with your time and happy to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends. You respect our Christian ethos and the beliefs of everyone we support. Basic digital skills are helpful, but we’ll support you to learn what you need. Ideally, you’ll already hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or you’ll be willing to work towards it with our support. If you’re someone who notices when others need a hand, offers support without being asked and enjoys helping people feel comfortable and included, you could be a great fit for this role.
