Helpdesk Administrator Location: Ilford/Hainault Office Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm On-call: 1 week in 7 (telephone support) Holiday: 20 days per year plus bank holidays About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Service Coordinator to join our busy 24/7 helpdesk team. You will be part of a fast-paced environment supporting our retail and hospitality contracts, ensuring efficient coordination of engineers and smooth delivery of service to clients. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the diaries of 10–15 engineers, scheduling jobs and allocating tasks efficiently. • Coordinate a team of 60 engineers working across multiple sites. • Arrange materials, parts, and resources required for jobs. • Book and confirm engineer appointments, ensuring timely completion of works. • Liaise with clients and engineers to provide updates and resolve any issues. • Support the out-of-hours team by providing on-call telephone support on a rota basis (1 week in 7). • Maintain accurate records of calls, jobs, and materials within the service management system. Requirements: • Previous experience in a service coordination, helpdesk, or FM scheduling role. • Strong organisational and multitasking skills. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Confident using scheduling or CAFM software. • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment.
