Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Everett, WA 98201 (Washington healthcare jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026) Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18:30 – 07:00); 36 or 48 hours/week contracts available Setting: Level III Obstetrical Unit, Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Orientation: 3 days during first week (Monday–Wednesday) Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 per week Charting: EPIC electronic medical records Parking: Facility paid Estimated Weekly Salary: $2110 - $2260 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience (preferably in facilities with 200 deliveries/month; will consider 100–200/month) Active Washington RN or Compact RN license (pending license accepted) Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Advanced and NRP preferred), Relias Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Proficiency with EPIC charting system Ability to float to Postpartum as needed Competency in performing sterile vaginal exams (SVE) Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting Willingness to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) No local candidates (must reside 50 miles from facility) Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a high-volume, fast-paced unit Assist with high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, and multiple births Administer medications and blood products; monitor fetal heart rates using EFM and IUPC Support breastfeeding and provide lactation education to new mothers Perform newborn assessments and care for neonates, including high-risk conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory therapists, social workers, physicians) Float to postpartum and antepartum units as needed Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and documentation using EPIC Maintain a safe, compassionate environment for patients and families Experience the best of Washington nursing jobs and make a difference in a thriving healthcare setting.
