Hematology/Oncology Physician

Job Title: Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology Join our dedicated team at a respected Cancer Care Center located in Albany, NY. This facility is committed to providing high-quality care to its patients and is currently in need of a locum Hematology/Oncology provider. The practice offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on adult patients. You'll be working alongside a team of 3 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers, with 4 full-time radiation oncologists available for collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact while the facility recruits for full-time oncologists. Job Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Participate in a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule, or alternatively a rotating weekend coverage model. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and advanced practice providers. Utilize the Epic documentation system for clinical records. Contribute to a community hospital environment with a focus on both hematology and oncology. Qualifications: Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology. Current ACLS certification. Valid New York State medical license. Willingness to accept a conversion rate cap of $25k. License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology - Required. ACLS Certification - Required. New York State License - Required.
