Job Description: The Pastry Chef/Baker will be responsible for preparing, baking and presenting high-quality pastries, breads and desserts. This role requires attention to detail, creativity in menu contribution and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Location: Langebaan, Cape Town Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, breads, and desserts to company standards. Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation. Manage ingredient inventory and maintain accurate stock control. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times. Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items. Ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods for service. Adhere to all company policies, HACCP, and hygiene regulations. Requirements: Formal Culinary or Patisserie qualification. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a catering or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert preparation. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Creative flair with attention to detail and presentation. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
