Grounds Maintenance Operative

Groundsperson Location: 29 Blaris Road, Lisburn BT27 5UG Rate: £14.13 PAY Hours: 37 per week Positions: 4 About the Role Join the Parks & Amenities Team maintaining golf courses, parks, cemeteries, and open spaces. You will carry out horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks, operate equipment safely, and ensure all areas are well maintained and presentable. Main Duties Maintain grass, trees, and landscaped areas Operate and inspect grounds equipment daily Soil preparation, fertilising, planting, and hedge-cutting Assist with cemetery and burial duties where required Follow Council Health & Safety procedures and maintain accurate records Essential Criteria Minimum of two years experience in grounds or horticultural maintenance (sports pitches, cemeteries, golf courses, or parks) Good understanding of grounds maintenance and Health & Safety requirements Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks Full UK driving licence
