Cook - RELIEF

Rosewood Court are on the lookout for a talented, enthusiastic and passionate Cook to join our team on a relief basis. You will be based at our small and friendly Housing Scheme in Wellingborough (NN8 1LQ). The Restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious homemade traditional and nutritious foods, and you will play a vital role in the planning, preparation, cooking, and clean up. Role: Cook Hours: ad hoc - to support as required Salary: £13.31 per hour Location: Rosewood Court, Irthlingborough Road, Wellingborough, NN8 1LQ Closing Date: 28th October 2025 Extracare does not participate in the current “UK Visa Sponsorship” scheme. Main responsibilities: Be responsible for providing homemade traditional meals. Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value. Assist with other kitchen duties and ensure HACCP is followed. Ensure the menus are prepared within budget. Be committed to always provide the highest standards of hygiene Our Ideal Chef: Experience of working in a similar environment Previous experience of budgeting. Possess high kitchen standards. Have a presence at front of house. Ability to inspire and support the catering team. Have empathy and understand our residents' needs and dietary requirements. Team player Passionate and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
