Vehicle Technician

Job Role: Vehicle Mechanic Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire Salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum Hours: 8:00-17:30 Monday-Friday 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00-13:00 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Package: £30,000-£40,000 salary per annum, dependent on experience Pension scheme Ongoing commitment to training and progression Discount scheme and healthcare plan 28 days annual leave (including public holidays) Life assurance scheme Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, service, and repair on a variety of class 4 & 7 motor vehicles Conduct clutch changes, gearbox replacements, wheel alignment, engine fault finding, and general motor repairs Collaborate with fellow mechanics and site members to ensure clear communication of repair time frames and accurate customer quotes Attend company training and development sessions as needed Work independently and as part of a team Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a vehicle mechanic working on class 4/7 vehicles Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Repair & Maintenance) are advantageous but not essential Team player with a willingness to grow and develop Ability to carry out vehicle diagnostics About Interaction Recruitment: Interaction Recruitment has specialist consultants across various industries in the UK, including Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial, and Hospitality.
