Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details: • Work Sunday through Tuesday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • No on-call responsibilities required • Perform technical CT procedures in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center • Create diagnostic images for trauma, emergency room, outpatients, inpatients, research patients, and specialized CT-guided procedures • Work with patients ranging from stable outpatients to those receiving intensive care • Provide patients with safe and positive experiences during procedures • Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16 • Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances • Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice required • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required • Entry level position with MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience Facility: This medical center operates as a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services across multiple patient populations.
