Internal Medicine Program Director - Gainesville, FL An established Internal Medicine Residency Program in Gainesville, Florida, in partnership with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM), is seeking a Program Director to lead its growing academic program. Position Details Immediate need Employed Existing Practice Outpatient Board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine is required Minimum 3 years of faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program Minimum 3 years of prior GME administrative experience required Willingness to integrate administrative duties with diagnostic and teaching responsibilities Strong administrative and team-building skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Candidates with recent scholarly activity are strongly encouraged to apply, including: - Peer-reviewed funding - Publications in peer-reviewed journals or textbooks - Presentations at scientific society meetings - Involvement in national committees or educational organizations Location Nestled in the landscape of North Central Florida, Gainesville is known for its preservation of historic buildings, art, cultural diversity, and the beauty of its natural surroundings; including numerous springs, lakes, outdoor parks and museums.
