Mechanical Project Manager

True are partnering with a specialist building services contractor delivering nationwide retail and banking framework projects to the highest technical standards. With a secured pipeline of HVAC and mechanical schemes across the UK, they’re now looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of multiple fast-paced framework projects. As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll manage 2–3 live jobs at any one time, ranging from £50K–£500K in value, overseeing the full project lifecycle from surveys, pricing and client liaison through to delivery and handover. The role will focus on HVAC, ducting, Air-Conditioning, ventilation, and back-of-house plumbing, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery within strict timeframes (8–16 weeks per project). With projects spread nationwide, travel is an essential part of the role, though hotel stays are kept to a minimum and expenses are covered. This is an opportunity for an experienced framework project manager who thrives in client-facing roles, is highly organised, and can deliver multiple quick turnaround projects to the highest standards. Mechanical Project Manager Package: * £60,000–£70,000 Package (DOE) * Travel expenses covered * Hybrid working flexibility (depending on location) * Long-term frameworks with secured pipeline into next year We’re looking for someone with: * Proven experience delivering mechanical building services projects within framework contracts (retail or banking preferred) * Strong background in HVAC, ducting, AC, ventilation, and plumbing installations * Ability to manage 2–3 projects concurrently, £50K–£500K in value * Experience carrying out surveys, pricing against schedule of rates, and liaising with design teams 1–2 times per week * Excellent client-facing and subcontractor management skills * Flexibility to travel nationwide (occasional hotel stays) * Based within reach of Dartford (preferred) or along the M1 corridor, with willingness to attend office meetings as required If you’re an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a track record of delivering framework projects to the highest standards, this is your chance to step into a mobile, client-facing role with a contractor that is rapidly expanding its position in the retail and banking sector
