Civils Site Agent

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Civils Site Agent / Civils Site Manager on behalf of a thriving civil engineering main contractor to work on a large ongoing project in the Immingham area. This growing main contractor are building their reputation across the North of England whilst very established down South & Midlands. They are a key delivery partner for Ports & Marinas UK-wide alongside a host of varied civils schemes across Highways, Infrastructure, Rail etc. Part of a larger company group means significant financial backing and shared resources at their fingertips. Initial project is £20m civil engineering package to improve the industrial port. Including bulk earthworks, crane beams, concrete hard standings, access roads & car parks etc. The current project presents 18 months of work with very likely looking additional phases with the client spanning to 2-3 years and beyond. Duties/Responsibilities: * Manage project / section at all setup & site stages * Writing & updating site documentation * Cost control with commercial team * Attend & hold meetings on sites with stakeholders * Temporary Works management * Management of sub-contractors * Project & progress reports * H&S file updates & audits on site * Coordination of site team: General Foremen & Site Engineers * Keeping site file up to date regularly Remuneration: A salary of up to £60,000 (dependent upon experience) plus * Company commercial vehicle or allowance * Annual project profit bonus scheme * Fuel card for business mileage * Annual leave * Company pension scheme * Medical care * And more Experience required: * Candidates must have proven experience at Site Manager / Site Agent level with a principal contractor on Civil Engineering / Heavy Civils projects (values £10m) * Tools or Engineer background desirable * Experience with contract changes, NEC3 / NEC4, cost control desired. * Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree). * Must hold: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Full Driver's License.
