Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Based in Warwick – Covering the Midlands Up to £40,000 Company Vehicle Excellent Benefits A long-established Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with over 50 years’ experience is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their friendly, professional team. The Role You’ll be carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of commercial and domestic sites including offices, schools, health centres, hotels, care homes, and residential properties. Typical duties include: * Diagnosing and repairing leaks, boilers, and heating issues * Servicing hot and cold-water systems, heating, and ventilation * Supporting post-project defect periods (12–24 months) * Liaising with clients and reporting on works completed Work is primarily within the Midlands, mainly around Birmingham and Warwick, with occasional travel to nearby areas. Requirements ✅ Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance or installation role ✅ NVQ in Plumbing and/or Heating & Ventilation ✅ Gas Safe qualified (Domestic as a minimum) ✅ Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence ✅ Strong customer service and communication skills ✅ Able to work independently with a positive, proactive approach Package & Benefits * Salary circa £40,000 * Company vehicle (business use), PPE & uniform provided * 25 days holiday bank holidays * Westfield Health Cash Plan * NEST pension scheme * Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (1-hour lunch)
