Telemetry Engineer

Are you seeking a new opportunity? Join our client's team in the Ipswich / Colchester area and enjoy: Competitive Pay: Earn £14.28 per hour, overtime rates of £21.42 paid after 42.5 hours per week. Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increases with length of service. Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4.30pm with some early mornings and late finishes required in busy times. Some nights away from home will also be required for training and out of area cover. Responsibilities: Delivering exceptional customer service. Installing and maintaining telemetry units to bulk tanks and assets at customers sites Activating and checking devices using an app on a smart phone/ tablet Risk assessments, tank exchange surveys, non-gas basic repair work Assisting the gas engineers when required Requirements: Valid Cat B driving licence IT skills for using a tablet on jobs Customer facing experience Any practical experience in telemetry fitting would be advantageous but not essential as full training on the job will be provided Successful candidates require a DBS checkDetails: The role is due to start immediately and will be an ongoing position For insurance purposes, you should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
