Travel ICU RN Job Details Location: Westminster, CO 80023 (Denver metro area) Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Float Pool Assignment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site Start Date: December 1, 2025 End Date: February 28, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Zone 3) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930 - $2070 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Minimum 1 year of recent ICU, critical care, or acute care nursing experience preferred Willingness to float to other units or Centura Health locations within 60 miles as needed ICU Nurse Responsibilities Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of ICU patients Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Demonstrate clinical competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, specimen collection, etc.) Promote and advocate for patient safety, health, and rights in the critical care setting Provide patient and family education, assessing learning needs and evaluating teaching effectiveness Deliver relationship-based care with respect for patient preferences, values, and cultural differences Delegate appropriately to non-RN personnel according to policy and healthcare regulations Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and preceptor for new staff or nursing students Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and clinical research activities Maintain professional records and pursue ongoing learning and nursing competency development Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in Westminster, Colorado, and take the next step in your nursing career!
