The Role - Energy Optimisation Analyst, UK As an Energy Optimisation Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping our customers achieve their energy-saving goals. You’ll provide insight and analysis into how energy is used across customer sites, identify opportunities to optimise performance, and recommend energy conservation measures (ECMs) that deliver measurable savings - all while maintaining high operational standards. You may have previously worked as an Energy Analyst , Energy Manager , or Sustainability Consultant , and ideally have experience in energy management within hospitality (restaurants, QSRs and hotels) and / or industry. The Energy Optimisation Team operates globally across the UK, US, Kenya and Malaysia, so collaboration and communication are essential. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring equipment remotely through the Best.Energy Analytics platform and other online dashboards Analysing and interpreting data to help customers make smart, data-driven decisions Creating and distributing detailed reports for both customers and internal teams Identifying, improving, and recommending Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) Monitoring alarms and alerts to ensure ECMs are effective and customer operations remain unaffected Identifying performance changes in equipment and advising on maintenance or optimisation opportunities Communicating proactively with clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction Working collaboratively with the wider Energy Services Team to deliver excellent results Contributing to the design and continuous improvement of ECM solutions Your Skills To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Attention to detail and the ability to document, record, and present technical information Experience in energy management, ideally within a service-sector setting Strong customer-facing and communication skills, comfortable engaging by phone or video Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools A collaborative mindset and a passion for sustainability Useful experience and qualifications: Measurement and Verification (M&V) experience Familiarity with IPMVP methodologies ESOS or EnCO experience What You’ll Get - Life at Best.Energy Life at Best.Energy is fast-paced and purpose-driven - and we all look after each other.
