Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Martin, TN 38237 (Tennessee nursing jobs) Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery (L&D), LDRP, Postpartum, Nursery Start Date: November 17, 2025 End Date: January 5, 2026 Duration: 7-week travel contract Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am), 36 hours/week Estimated Weekly Salary: $1610–$1730 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Must work 12/24 & 12/31 Floating: May float to Antepartum, NICU, Postpartum/Nursery as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license—Compact or Tennessee RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications EPIC charting experience within the last 12 months preferred (otherwise, 10 additional hours of orientation required) Prior travel nursing experience required Ability to float to related clinical units as needed COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions for COVID-19 only) Professional references required Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods Monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and assist with high-risk deliveries Perform newborn assessments, APGAR scoring, and provide breastfeeding/lactation support Assist with cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and recovery care Educate and support families on newborn care, discharge instructions, and car seat safety Utilize EPIC for clinical charting and documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services Float to Antepartum, NICU, and Postpartum/Nursery units as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Martin, TN, and make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns!
